California State Loan Repayment Program (CA-SLRP) Technical Assistance Webinar

A webinar will be held on August 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to provide information on eligibility and the application process. A recording of the webinar will be available online within ten days of the webinar date.

The California State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) increases the number of primary care physicians, dentists, dental hygienists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, pharmacists, and mental/behavioral health providers practicing in federally designated California Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA).

Federal Funding

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provides financial support for the California State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). The California SLRP made a total of $6,228,000 in awards for Program Year 2024-25. HRSA provided $1,000,000 of the awarded funds. The contents of this website are those of the author.
